My journey into visual storytelling began in an unexpected way. I originally set out to become a mechanical engineer, drawn to the mechanics, math, and design that make things work. To explore that field, I bought a 3D printer and began learning CAD and 3D design. That decision led me to Blender, where I discovered the fascinating world of 3D art. What started as a practical pursuit turned into a creative passion as I stumbled upon visual effects (VFX). Inspired by my childhood love for robots, Power Rangers, Iron Man, and Transformers, I fell in love with the magic of VFX and the limitless potential of blending art and technology.
As I taught myself VFX, compositing, and 3D design, I realized that creating these effects was only one part of the story—it all began with filmmaking. That sparked a deeper passion for cinematography and storytelling. Over time, I discovered a love for directing and producing, and I knew I wanted to pursue a career in filmmaking. With few opportunities in my area, I decided to create my own path.
That’s why I started Dreams to Screens Studios. I wanted to build a place where I could bring my own ideas to life, collaborate with other creatives, and share the resources I wished I had when I started. DTS Studios is about more than just creating; it’s about empowering others to tell their stories, too.
But at the heart of it all is my own creative journey. I’ve always been driven by curiosity and a passion for learning, whether it’s about filmmaking, visual effects, or storytelling. My goal is to constantly grow as an artist and share that growth through my work. Visual storytelling allows me to connect with audiences, craft unique narratives, and push the boundaries of imagination.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about my journey. I’m excited to see where this passion will take me next!
